Our research covers a broad spectrum of questions in arthropod evolutionary ecology. Starting from the evolution and diversification of reproductive systems (how can “asexuals” exist in the long-term?), over chemical communication (chemical defense), the 3D functional morphology of structures involved in species interactions, to the understanding of food webs and influences of climate change on forest soil animal communities.
