Haku Maki was a Japanese artist and printmaker of the second half of the 20th century. He made his name by producing Japanese prints featuring Chinese characters (kanji) and also ceramic vessels, often embossed. Maki produced about 2000 different works. This makes him one of the most prolific Japanese print makers of his day.
