My passion for animals was always part of me while growing up in Simi Valley. I had many opportunities to either own or be around small and large animals. My first business was walking the neighborhood dogs when I was in elementary school, my pay was a cookie or a handful of candy. Our family owned several cats with medical problems, which gave me experience caring for animals with conditions such as diabetes and severe allergies.
