SPADRA BASIN: SUPPLYING LOCAL COMMUNITIES WITH VITAL GROUNDWATER The Spadra Basin lies beneath the San Gabriel Valley, in the western portion of the City of Pomona. This aquifer supplies groundwater primarily to the City of Pomona, Walnut Valley Water District and Cal Poly Pomona. Rowland Water District is also a primary stakeholder in the basin.
