Protestants today are just abrogating their historic responsibility to identify and speak out against the antichrist - the papacy. Over the last few centuries Protestants have literally quit protesting. Leaders are more interested in ecumenism and just getting along. Rather than preach the truth, they would rather ignore the Bible and join ecumenical movements for sake of peace and harmony.
