NSTC is a community-based non-profit dedicated to expanding theatre horizons in Las Cruces, Mesilla Valley, and southern New Mexico by presenting contemporary or little known works, puppet theater, improvisation, performance art, and providing opportunities for local playwrights to develop new works. The Black Box Theatre was built as a home for NSTC in 2000.
