The history and purpose Northeastern Illinois Norwegian Elkhound Association, Inc. (NEINEA) is an AKC licensed breed club and a member of the Norwegian Elkhound Association of America.The club brings together Norwegian Elkhounds enthusiasts to focus on the care, training, health, welfare and betterment of the breed. NEINEA gathers for a variety of activities and meetings throughout the year. Many club members participate in a variety of dog sports and venues.
