Black Art in Japan is the first and only platform dedicated to the artistic stewardship and championship of Black contemporary artists in Japan. The platform centres Black cultural production as both an artistic and economic force — generating market activity that sustains Black artists, Black galleries, and Black cultural institutions across the diaspora.
