The Maine Wilderness Guides Organization (MWGO) is a community of guides from across Maine committed to leading safe, well-organized, enriching, and enjoyable outdoor experiences. Established in 2004 by a collective of conservation-oriented guides and camp owners, MWGO is dedicated to preserving the ecosystems critical for guiding activities, upholding the traditional expertise of Maine guides, and
