MUG is a network of community gardens and gardeners in Mobile Alabama that increases fresh produce access to the food insecure. MUG provides guidance for developing leadership, structure, and organic practices to community gardeners and volunteers. The therapeutic horticulture aspect leads gardening activities with at risk youth and the intellectually disabled.
