This is a proposal for the Maah Daah Hey National Monument which would comprise 139,729 acres on eleven non-motorized backcountry designated areas of the Dakota Prairie Grasslands in the Badlands of the Little Missouri River basin of western North Dakota. The eleven individual units of the proposed monument serve to link the southern and northern units of Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
