Scientists Lie Scientists lie. Scientists lie whenever they try to convince us that chance can do causation. The math doesn’t lie. That’s why I find mathematical proofs so convincing. I’m a statistician, mathematician, and logician as well as being a philosopher and a scientist. In subsequent parts of this essay, I will use simple
