We have been working in the Mara since 2014. This long time commitment has given us a unique insight into the challenges of the area and valuable relations to local stakeholders, inspiring and challenging our research ideas. Based on this knowledge, members of our growing research network have started up a number of interdisciplinary research projects. We work under a research permit granted to us by NACOSTI.
