KELLY CARMODY studied painting at Massachusetts College of Art where she worked from the figure. Led by her interest in the Old Masters, she investigated their techniques both independently and in workshops and classes. Introduced to the teachings of Numael Pulido, Kelly spent two years studying classical painting and design in his studio as well as spending two years at the Art Students League, where she received a merit scholarship.
