Gordon Lowe was born and bred in Bath, but after qualifying as a solicitor taught law for ten years in London to include a year in America. Escape from Broadmoor was published in May 2013 telling the story of John Straffen’s murderous escape from the famous hospital for the criminally insane, and he has recently talked about the book on radio and television.
