Welcome to the Center for the Study of Violence. The Center was established at Georgetown University and is now an independent research institute. It was designed to conduct research on the causes of violence in youth, young adults and adults, to conduct intervention programs that will reduce violent behavior and to provide education and consulting to communities and organizations on the topic of violence and its reduction.
