In Gal-Mor Lab, we study how Salmonella enterica causes disease in its host. We are particularly interested in unusual manifestations of salmonellosis such as outbreaks or invasive disease, which can help us learn more about the biology of this bacterium. Our research utilizes multiple approaches including clinical studies, molecular and cellular techniques, genomic analysis, and epidemiological investigations, all supported by cutting-edge technology and methodologies.
