The Fort St. James Community Forest is Area-Based, with its own Timber Supply Area, where the community holds the long-term tenure and no one else can harvest. There are 3 Forest Development Units; Dog Creek, Murray Ridge and Onjo. Overseen by the Community Forest Commission with the authority of the District of Fort St James.
