Duck Energy is building Gravity batteries to create grid scale long term energy storage. Duck Energy utilises existing mine shafts to store energy from renewable sources and then provide the energy back to the grid at high demand times in the evening or winter. This will reduce seasonal changes in energy prices for commercial and private customers.
