Derek Homer was born in Birmingham and moved to Dorset in 1977. He studied at the University of Life and paints from his experiences. My style has been described as whimsical and fun, if my efforts make you smile then you’ve grasped all that is intended. Fun Art has at last re-emerged, all be it in the guise of Naïve, Primitive, Folk and Outsider Art and the Art world is excited. A spark of light shining like a beacon amidst a stressful world. Long may it last!
