Decolonising Geography challenges the reproduction of colonial practices of knowledge in our classrooms. It contributes to developing curricula that challenge ‘universal truths’ and objective knowledge in geography by offering pedagogical techniques to empower students to take responsibility in co-creating knowledge and building critical geographies; offering a space for reflection on the content we teach in secondary geography; and providing practical teaching resources.
