Our goal is to restore the climate by 2050. Emission reduction is not enough. We need to also remove all historic emissions (a trillion tons) from the atmosphere. It is possible. There are scalable, permanent, and financially viable climate restoration solutions that can restore a safe and healthy climate (below 300ppm) when deployed at scale.
