Ben Westwood (writer and author) grew up in the West Midlands. From the age of ten he was a frequent child runaway and was soon living on the streets of London whilst missing from foster parents and in childrens homes. Now in his thirties, he has written numerous books and also has an online handmade jewellery business. As a child runaway and former child in care, he now shares his story with social workers, foster parents, safeguarding networks and other care leavers among others.
