Dr Amitava Ray is a highly experienced senior consultant neurosurgeon at Apollo Hospitals, with a strong focus on reducing the pain and suffering caused by disease and its treatment. After graduating from the University of Calcutta, he completed his postgraduate training in the UK before spending three years at the Brain Tumour Research Laboratory at the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto, where he pursued a fellowship in Neurooncology and Paediatric Neurosurgery.
