We are a community organization focused on supporting immigrants, refugees, and vulnerable families in Southern New Mexico. Al Rajaa Community Centre for Empowerment was founded in the fall of 2021 by Rajaa Shindi and her daughter, Hiba Muhyi. With the support and funding from the Kellogg Foundation, they started this center to meet the needs of Afghan refugees resettling in the region.
