The Rule of Life for Associates lays a foundation of Eucharistic life for his lay family with two religious institutes founded by St. Peter Julian Eymard of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament. Lay Associates hold a canonical status and St. Eymard called this order the Aggregation of the SSS.
