The Legacy Sessions is the rebranded and expanded evolution of the event formerly known as A Night for Statchel. Founded by Vince Avery McCoy in 2019, the original festival was created in honor of Statchel Edwards, an extraordinary Antiguan and Barbudan musician, mentor, and cultural contributor whose influence helped shape and inspire generations of musicians. Additionally, the festival serves as a fundraiser for the St John Hospice.
