Eugene Kangawa is a Japanese contemporary artist born in the United States in 1989. His work centers on abstract paintings and installations that explore time and human existence. In 2021–22, he held the major solo exhibition EUGENE STUDIO The New Sea / After the Rainbow at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, where he was introduced as the youngest artist to have held a solo exhibition at the museum.
