From black and white landscapes capturing the stark beauty of the Provincetown dunes, to a humorous off-beat series of giant beach toys titled, The Inflatables, Massachusetts photographer Maurine Sutter’s work showcases a unique style with each body of work. Using black and white infrared film, hand-tinting gelatin-silver prints along with digital capture and contemporary museum quality ink-jet printing, she produces her work in small limited editions.
