Squadhack is a multiplayer hack-and-slash dungeon crawler that you can play in your web browser for free. The game is heavily inspired by the many hack-and-slash games I played whilst I was supposed to be attending university. From my perspective is most strongly influenced by NetHack with respect to the dungeon, and Diablo with respect to the real-time gameplay. My experiences with hackers and combat loggers whilst playing dayz has also had an effect on the network code.
