Simone Lanzenstiel`s paintings and room paintings are inspired by scribblings, markings and graffities on weathered fronts of buidings, found in urban space. In her installations she uses very simple, everyday materials, which are used on construction sides. These seemingly accidental arrangements shift painting into the third dimension.
