Sam was born in Sheffield in 1985. He studied architecture at Manchester School of Architecture (2004-07) and at London Met School of Architecture under David Grandorge (2010-12), qualifying as an architect in 2014. He has worked on a number of award winning architectural projects, including the Flint House at Skene Catling de la Pena and The ZigZag Building at Lynch Architects. In 2017 he founded his own studio. His interests include spatial & geometric typology, the idea of 'infrastructural'
