In just a few years, Roman has come a long way in single-seaters. He began his racing career in F4, then spent several seasons in FRECA, winning the Oceania Championship in spectacular style along the way, before moving on to Formula 3, where he won once and stood on the podium three times in total. After a very strong season, he joined the DAMS Lucas Oil team and moved up to the next level - Formula 2.
