Rob was born in Bogotá, Colombia; grew up in Newton, MA; spent his teen years in Fayetteville, AR; attended Williams College as an undergrad (proud to be an Eph!); completed his graduate work at Arizona State University; and spent two years as a postdoctoral research fellow in Singapore.
