Pamela Turner went from graduating from college with honors in Wisconsin to living in homeless shelters in Louisville, Kentucky. The latter experience inspired her to write two books with a young homeless woman as the main character.  Like many authors, she’s worked various jobs, including security guard and substitute teacher.
