O2matrix is a cryopreserved extracellular matrix derived from the placenta and umbilical cord of healthy newborns’ biological waste after birth. It is being developed to improve wound care and tissue engineering. Unlike other matrices, O2matrix is an oxygenated scaffold containing other natural components expected to better regenerate healthy tissues. It is for autologous and allogeneic use.
