De Wet is a Fine Art graduate from South Africa. She specializes in conceptual, mixed media, installation, dramatic drawings on paper, three-dimensional assemblage and her paintings are produced in Acrylic on canvas allowing for rapid and energetic application of paint and expressionistic mark making. She instinctively strives to reveal the inner character, or soft underbelly, of humankind. All de Wet’s work can be seen as portraiture of some kind.
