Our research seeks to uncover and engineer new quantum phases of light and matter at the nanoscale. Operating at the confluence of quantum optics, condensed matter physics, and nanophotonics, we explore how reduced dimensionality, symmetry breaking, and dissipation can give rise to fundamentally new physical behavior in two-dimensional materials and strongly coupled photonic systems.
