Movie-based counseling is a counseling methodology created by the self-empowerment teacher Len Sone, in which the client’s favorite movies and TV shows are used for their self-discovery and self-actualization. Not only is the client encouraged to have fun watching movies and to pay close attention to her movie preferences, but she is encouraged to act on her insights in order to restore her inner emotional/psychological balance and to build her ideal life.
