Miriam Landis is a ballet teacher and writer in Seattle. She studied at Stanford and the School of American Ballet. She teaches at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School and danced professionally with the Miami City Ballet. She was an assistant editor at Hyperion and Simon and Schuster in New York.
