In 2020 Cabarete will host the 17th edition of Master of the Ocean event, the only water sports competition showcasing top water men and water women who master the disciplines of surf, windsurf, kite surf and stand up paddle. Cabarete is the capital of water sports on the North Shore of the Dominican Republic.
