I am grounded in real life, a people person and intuitive to people’s emotional and vocational needs. I have worked in the NHS and higher education for more than 35 years. I am an Emeritus Professor at the University of Nottingham and am widely recognised as having pioneered a research culture in stroke rehabilitation and occupational therapy.
