Lukas Vanbeckevoort (°2002, Hasselt) was 6 years old when he started playing the violin. He took lessons with Lei Wang, the first concertmaster of the Philharmonie Zuidnederland and a teacher at Luca School of Arts. In May 2015, he won the Cobra’s Classic Battle, and in 2016, he achieved 2nd place in the Breughel Music Competition, a national music competition for young talents under 19 years old.
