As a social studies teacher, I've always loved writing, history, and education; all of which came together for my first novel, The Gilded Sanctum.I began my teaching career twenty-eight years ago at a public school in Virginia, not far from the fictional academy in my story. Having lived and worked in the area for several years, I was intimately familiar with the state’s rich Civil War history, which provided the perfect backdrop for this mystery thriller.My second novel, The Tenant, takes pla
