Kaila Flexer is a violinist, composer, music educator and Artistic Director of Worldview Cultural Performances, a non-profit arts organization. She is half of the duo Teslim. A musical pioneer, Flexer has been at the helm of such groups as Next Village, Third Ear and Kaila Flexer’s Fieldharmonik. She lives in Oakland, California with her thirteen-year-old daughter, Lucy.
