I create my works with a deep appreciation for the traditional colors of Japan—hues that stand out in nature, gradually fading over time. Just as water, earth, and air have no fixed form, my paintings, too, are not easily confined or structured. I seek an expression of painting that resembles the striking yet fleeting beauty of natural landscapes.
