I'm a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer in literary and cultural studies at the University of Bremen. My current research focuses on energy infrastructures in the nineteenth-century anglophone periodical press. I also teach and research in Scottish literature, anglophone literature of the 20th and 21st century, the environmental humanities, border studies, media history, and animal studies
