Labeled as “The creative label for creative music” ICTUS Records was one of the leading independent music labels in the late 70’s, soon gaining worldwide fame for being one of the few labels presenting improvised music and new jazz. 30 years after its initial foundation, ICTUS Records was back in 2004, now established in Los Angeles, with a new catalogue introducing brand new series and titles along with remastered old recordings.
