Gary Gresl is a sculptor of mixed media assemblages created from found objects. Gresl specializes in weaving myths around the curios he builds into his big-scale, object-oriented assemblages. Gresl is also an activist, using his position as president of the Wisconsin Painters and Sculptors to promote the visual arts of Wisconsin.
