New Zealand artist Fern Petrie creates thought provoking paintings based on Victorian cabinet cards. Inspired by Renaissance, Surreal and Pre-Raphaelite art she seeks to remind the viewer of the beauty of all is transient by referencing the ephemeral nature of memory.
